INGA Jute Tote Bag with Dual Outer Pockets

A premium grade hessian bag with two contrast external pockets made out of Juco.

Made from eco friendly Jute / Hessian this lightweight reusable bag is extremely strong and sturdy enough to stand on its own with soft cotton padded handles for your comfort. Internal twin pocket for easy access to phone / keys.

Juco is 70% Hessian / Jute blended with 30% cotton for a softer feel. This bag is designed to be a casual bag with two outer pockets for carrying magazines/phone/tablet as shown in the pictures. No harsh chemicals used in dyes.

Can be used as a shopping bag, tote bag, grocery bag, market bag, gym bag, beach bag, sports bag, hand bag, lunch bag, library bag, picnic bag and for your holiday trips as it can be flat packed!

As a designer I use Jute as my core fabric of choice and I am excited to have created the world's largest range of Designer Hessian Bags just for You! A lot of hard work goes into each Thyli bag. I work closely with my production team to create these awesome bags using my intuition and customer feedback, sourcing fabrics, tweaking my designs to reduce wastage in production and packaging; and traveling overseas to work with the sampling team on the production floor to bring my creations to life!

Each Thyli bag is therefore unique, a fusion of art and practicality, for everyday use and great as gifts that will get reused.

Jute plant is a natural grass known as the "golden fibre" that is Earth friendly with a low carbon footprint compared to cotton. Jute relies on rain water and uses less water than cotton. Cotton uses large amounts of irrigated water, is pesticide and fertilizer intensive which places pressure on rivers, soil, biodiversity and the eco system. I have used Jute from the Bay of Bengals wetlands where most of the world's jute is sourced. Jute grows quickly, requires less land and millions of rural people rely on harvesting jute as a source of income. Hessian or burlap fabric is made from the Jute plant. Hessian, Burlap and Jute terms are used interchangeably.

Care Instructions - Jute / Hessian is very resistant to dirt. Spot clean / gentle sponge to wipe off any marks. Clean the inner lamination with a wet cloth. Do not wash as colours may run. Using a washing machine and dryer is NOT recommended.

*Minor shade variations due to different monitor and lighting, the actual colour of the item might be slightly different from the colour shown on the pictures. Expect minor variations in Jute fabric which makes it naturally beautiful and is not a defect.
